In 2018 Yandex.Market along with GoTech organized 2 “New Retail” contests for companies that create innovative products and services for retail – for example, in the field of self-service, packaging, and delivery of goods, automatic creation of online content, solutions for online merchandising, dynamic pricing and others. Over 300 startups took part in the contests.
According to the results of the selection, 60 companies made presentations to experts and internal customers of Yandex.Market and partner companies (Sberbank, Visa, Samsung, the Untitled Ventures, etc.) and participated in the mentorship program.
Over 30 experts of Yandex.Market took part in work with 60 startups, according to the results 6 companies received cash prizes, 1 raised funding from the fund-partner, a number of startups began cooperation with Yandex.Market in the format of joint pilot or service delivery.
