Goal: Scout startups for Alfa-Bank, the largest private Russian bank, in the following areas: coordination of interaction with self-employed, subscription management and structuring, benefits and compensation. Make a preliminary analysis of the resulting funnel and organize pitch sessions with the participation of startups and Alfa-Bank.
Before the start of scouting, GoTech Innovation analysts studied the international market for the number of companies that meet the customer’s criteria. After a detailed study of the descriptions and products, the relevance of technological solutions to Alfa-Bank’s requests was assessed and the number of potential leads was predicted for further analysis.
GoTech Innovation technology scouts analyzed existing solutions on the market, assessed the relevance to the request, the functionality and requested additional information. Demo Days were organized with the startups selected by Alfa-Bank in the format of online pitch sessions, where representatives of startups were able to present their solutions to Alfa-Bank experts and answer their questions. Pitch sessions were conducted in Russian and English.
As a result of scouting, solutions of 110 startups from 23 countries were presented (most of all companies are from Russia, Great Britain, USA, Canada, Sweden, France, Spain, Australia, Germany and Denmark). Technological scouts selected teams that met Alfa-Bank’s requests and criteria for willingness to cooperate: a developed MVP / availability of a working solution ready for a pilot launch, availability of sales, availability of proprietary technology, and readiness to modify the solution to meet the requirements in a short time.
